In the town of Lohta, Ash and Pikachu participate in a festival celebrating the "Wave Leader Hero" who, according to legend, stopped a war centuries ago. Suddenly the phantom Pokemon Mew appears and takes Pikachu, and Ash must work with the mysterious Pokemon Lucario to solve the connected mysteries.
