Futaba Oki is a slightly introverted girl who has just moved from Tokyo to a small and beautiful seaside town on the Izu peninsula. She meets an overwhelmingly cheerful and outgoing girl named Hikari Kohinata, and gets dragged along into Hikari's passion for scuba diving, where Futaba gradually starts to come out of her shell.
