While fighting an intense inter-galactic war, a mecha pilot is warped into a time and place that neither he nor his computer can recognize. Upon waking up from hibernation, he finds himself on a planet, with human residents speaking an unknown language, using inferior technologies, and -- most shocking to him -- breathing natural air.
