Yūri Katsuki struggled to compete at the Gran Prix Finale ice skating competition, but suffered a crushing defeat. He returns home feeling like he wants to retire, but also like he wants to continue skating. The five-time world championship ice skater Victor Nikiforov appears before him with an offer to help Yuri once again challenge the Gran Prix series.
