I have been into anime for longer than I can remember, with Pokemon and Sailor Moon being two of the first series I recall being a fan of. I have also been involved in cosplay since I was a young teen.
2011 is the year that I more formally became involved in cosplay, conventions, and meet-ups, with my first convention being HyperJapan in London. Since then, I have not only attended events but also actively participated in them by leading, organizing, or volunteering for various events. I also co-lead an anime club at my local library, which just celebrated its third anniversary.
