Help us decide what fan run panels to approve. Only paid members can vote. Members have an unlimited number of votes, but can only vote for a particular panel once. Restricting this to paid members prevents ballot stuffing. Votes for a panel are just one part of the decision process. AF panel staff will make the final determinations. A panel with many votes may be declined and a panel with no votes may be approved. The votes give us an indication of popularity and may also help to decide if a panel should be scheduled in a large or small room.

Q&A Age 18+ OFF TOPIC
"Take a late-night trip to the wizarding world of 1977 and enjoy a butterbeer with your favorite band-of-brothers, The Marauders, and other Three Broomsticks patrons."
An 18+ Harry Potter Panel, taking place in the late 1970s with the Marauders (James Potter, Sirius Black, Remus Lupin and Peter Pettigrew) as well as a few other cohorts to round out the discussion. It will be a Q&A panel in a relatively non-formal setting, something along the lines of the group being at the Three Broomsticks in Hogsmeade and just taking questions from the patrons. Content will not be limited by age/language restrictions, this will not be a panel for the younger crowd.
A majority of our cast have been in several Potter panels (both at Akon and Afest) and have always wanted and have been asked why there’s no 18+ panel. A lot of the funnier questions get stifled by the age restriction and we feel that by lifting the age ban it could make for a fun if not colorful panel. We would prefer late Friday or Saturday night if at all possible, both due to the content and as to not conflict with other panels some of our members might be acting part of.
The cast has been in multiple panels and Harry Potter specific panels as well; half of our cast has been a part of the recurring Wizarding Conference panel for years. Our cast is very quick-witted and leaves little down-time between questions in the panel, which makes for a smoother running event and more exciting content. We regularly practice our roles and know the content of each character inside and out. We feel that our panel, its cast and content will definitely be a massive hit with the older parts of the wizarding fandom.
