Help us decide what fan run panels to approve. Only paid members can vote. Members have an unlimited number of votes, but can only vote for a particular panel once. Restricting this to paid members prevents ballot stuffing. Votes for a panel are just one part of the decision process. AF panel staff will make the final determinations. A panel with many votes may be declined and a panel with no votes may be approved. The votes give us an indication of popularity and may also help to decide if a panel should be scheduled in a large or small room.
Webcomic Bootcamp
Dual Presentation ART
Got the next great idea? Awesome! If you want to make your own webcomic but you’re not sure how to get started, this is the panel for you! Creating a webcomic is a lot like writing a novel-anyone can say they’re going to do it, but it takes a lot more than that to keep going and be successful. Having run a webcomic for +2 years now, the creative team responsible for Grave Impressions are excited to share their insights into the do’s and don’ts of webcomic-ing. This panel will go beyond just the essentials of story and some art-it will cover time management, consistency, pre-planning plot, backlogs, dealing with creator’s block, and more. We’ll also touch on a few easy ways to get your comic on the web, once you’ve got something to share.
