This is a chance for cosplayers to meet cosplayers! A networking hour where we can exchange cards and information, get to know each other, make groups/plans with other new cosplayers! Many cosplayers go to photoshoots but leave those settings knowing little to nothing about someone they just met and took pictures that day with unless they already knew them prior to the convention! The internet is great for getting familiar with someone's work or communicating on a surface level about cosplay, so what's a better way to mix and mingle with other cosplayer? A cosplayer social. We encourage anyone coming to this panel to bring 'cosplay cards' or someway to give out their information. This is also a great time to promote commissions, find partners for groups or competitions, find traveling buddies, etc. This is more structured than the meetups that take place in the hallways of the con, this isn't specifically for one fandom just a gathering where we can all get a chance to know each other and network. With cosplayers permission we will project their cosplays on a screen and visit people's webpages and fanpages so others are able to see and access their information. There are three of us to just help guide people who are in and out and collect information from the various cosplayers.
