Informative panel about con go-ers with disabilities both visible and non. How it has changed our con experience & how we handle everything.
This panel is made up of members with various types of disabilities. We will converse about our own disabilities and how it has effected our convention going experience. This panel is only about the panelist opinions on matters that they have gone through. Handling specific diagnosis in a convention setting can be hard, but when someone thinks they are alone it is even harder. As a panel our goal is to tell the stories of our hardships and how we have persevered through them. The panelist tell their personal stories so others can know they are not alone and others go through so many similar hardships. We have been to several other conventions and our turn out has been well received. Helping others with their questions on how survive a con with first hand experience is our goal.
