Anime Fan Psychology
Solo Presentation ANIME
The International Anime Research Project has been studying various aspects of the psychology of anime fans for the past four years. In this year’s panel we’ll cover a variety of research findings including topics such as fans’ psychological well-being, stigma, maturity, sexism, differences between cosplayers and non-cosplayers, and some results from last year’s survey. If you like science and data, or just want to know more about the psychological makeup of the fandom, then this is the panel for you.
