Cosplay survival: Southern Edition
Dual Presentation ART
Whether you are new to cosplay or a Veteran, cosplaying at a convention can wear you down, especially when the weather isn't co-operating with your choice of costume. Cosplaying in Texas or other southern states can be especially rough.
Come join Texas based cosplay group Mystic Galaxy and learn the ways they have coped with the ups and downs of cosplaying in a state where the moody weather and heat is your greatest enemy.

Presenter
Z Night has been a part of the cosplay community for a while now, with her first convention being A-kon 13 (2002). She started cosplaying at A-kon 15 (2004), where she premiered her first cosplay, Fujiko from Lupin III. Since then, Z Night has worked hard to present various cosplays, but her most recognized cosplay is Princess Zelda from Ocarina of Time. She has become quite famous for this cosplay and has built her reputation on it. In addition to hosting photoshoots and panels throughout the years

Traveling the con circuit throughout Texas for several years - volunteering, running panels, hosting art booths - I've lived and loved it all. I took a break from the convention life to pursue a career in Law Enforcement, but that came to an abrupt end when I was medically released. Now I travel with my husband and service dog, slowly recovering. It's taken a few years, but I feel I am ready to return to the con circuit.
