I have performed at many conventions before, and it is always a hit with local idol fans and regular anime fans alike! People love anisong and idol chants add a level of interaction with the audience not seen with traditional concerts. By hosting an idol show, AnimeFest will not just be an anime convention, but will show an appreciation for multiple facets of Japanese culture as a whole with a focus on anime. Because many of the songs I perform are recognizable to anime fans, it has always been a ton of fun for non-idol fans as well.
