Spandex is a commonly used cosplay fabric, whether cosplaying as a comic book character or a magical girl. Cosplaying attendees of all skill levels will find something useful in this panel, though it is geared towards those with a basic working-knowledge of stretch-based materials.
The Geeky Seamstress has been sewing since 2012 and has written extensively about spandex on her blog (www.thegeekyseamstress.com). She also won Best in Show at Dallas Comic Con for her spandex based build, Captain Marvel.
