Guest of Honor
AnimeFest 2017 - Thursday, August 17th - Sunday, August 20th, in the Dallas Arts DistrictTsutchie

Tsutchie continued remixing and producing numerous other artists, and gained overwhelming support as a cutting edge, popular music creator. In recent years he has expanded beyond hip-hop and is active as a music producer expanding into every genre.
In 2002 he debuted his first solo album, "Thanks for Listening", in which he collaborated with a variety of talented artists. Then in 2003 he released his second solo album titled "This is a Recording", a work made almost entirely on his own, from recording to mixing.
Soon after, he was requested by Director Shinichiro Watanabe to create the music for the now legendary anime series, Samurai Champloo. And so in 2004, Tsutchie released a 2-disc soundtrack for the animated television series, Samurai Champloo, a work acclaimed as going beyond genres and presenting listeners with a unique world atmosphere that is rich in both musicality and presence.
More recently he has focused on recording and mastering engineer work. In 2011 he launched his own label Sync Twice, releasing music from newer artists such as Kumiko Yanagida, the Run Run Runs, and others.
In 2015, he was approached by Director Shuko Murase to create the music for yet another new anime series, this time one based off of a popular manga. In October that same year, Tsutchie released the soundtrack for the animated television series, GANGSTA, titled "Signs".
This is Tsutchie's 4th appearance at AnimeFest. We are excited to welcome him back!
