Even after cosplaying for 12 years, Melfina is still constantly learning and picking up new skills with each costume she makes. She has won awards for her attention to detail, character likeness, stage performance, and commitment to craftsmanship at such conventions as Metrocon, MegaCon, Anime North, and San Japan.

Some of her other hobbies include drawing fan art, reading and writing fanfiction, hoarding makeup, and fantasizing about her favorite OTPs. Anime planted the seed for her desire to cosplay, and she is still very much a weeb at heart. Some of her favorite series/fandoms include Outlaw Star, Black Butler, Revolutionary Girl Utena, and Atlus’ Persona franchise.

Vorpal Props

Vorpal Props is the moniker of Texas based cosplayer, Matthew Bonner. With over 13 years of cosplay experience and numerous awards, Matt spends most of his time specializing in making props and armors from various video games, movies and animes. Originally from Kansas, Matt traveled to Texas for his first anime con. After seeing all of the interesting cosplays and how much fun it looked, he vowed to cosplay the next year. The following year he deputed his first cosplay and after that was dragged into the nerdy abyss and eventually moving to Texas. When he's not working on cosplay, he can be found playing video games, screaming at magic cards and crying over fictional characters.
