The Stitch Witch: Cosplay Repair

The Stitch Witch will be at AnimeFest 2019 to assist you with any repairs you may need should you suffer a cosplay costume emergency! The Stitch Witch has over 40 years of experience with crafting, sewing, costume building and repairs. Repairs are FREE. The Stitch Witch has many different types of glue, hot glue guns, duct tape, needle and thread, safety pins, bobby pins, assorted tools, a staple gun, a heat gun, a sewing machine, some limited leather repair items, and other assorted tools.. (ONLY THE STITCH WITCH MAY OPERATE THE SEWING MACHINE.) The full list of items available for you to use is too vast to itemize, but the Stitch Witch is sure to have something that will work!

Please do not expect to build your cosplay costume in the Cosplay Hospital. The Stitch Witch is there to assist you with cosplay REPAIRS only.

Please be respectful of the items you are being allowed to use. If you make a mess, please clean up after yourself and if you use the last of an item please let the Stitch Witch know so she can put more on the table for the next emergency!

In addition to The Stitch Witch we are also excited to welcome back Marcelina Villarreal AKA Madame Sapphire the Founder of Mad Sapphire Makeup. They are back for their second year at AnimeFest. Marcelina has been in the makeup industry since 2011 and knows everything from basic beauty makeup to gore and FX looks. She has spent the last 4 seasons as a special effects makeup artist for Fright Fest at Six Flags Over Texas. Marcelina looks forward to assisting you with all your cosplay glam (or gore) needs!

This year, there will be a donation box in the Cosplay Hospital for you to help out fellow cosplayers, by donating leftover items that you did not need to use to finish your masterpiece! (Example: foam board, fabric, glue, paint, sewing notions, buttons...)

Please be aware that you are ultimately responsible for any repairs to your cosplay. Animefest nor any of its volunteers will be held responsible for any damage to your possessions or injuries to your person.
