The Strut Your Stuff, Cosplay Contest and Cosplay Runway shows are run in conjunction with one another at The Majestic which will take place at 7:30 pm on Sunday, August 14, 2016.
SPECIAL COSPLAY ANNOUNCEMENT!!!
Attention all cosplayers! Are you cosplaying from Urusei Yatsura, Tokyo Ghoul, My Hero Academia, One-Punch Man, or Space Dandy? If so, then some of the anime creative staff and Japanese voice talent of those shows want to see you do your thing!There will be a special Pre-Show at the Cosplay Show on Sunday night. During this very special event, cosplayers from these shows will have the opportunity to be judged by the people who made it all happen!
AnimeFest's Japanese Guests of Honor will each present a special "Guest's Choice" award to the cosplayer they select. Furthermore, there will be commemorative group photo-ops and a personal photo-op with each award recipient and guest to mark the occasion.
This is an extremely rare opportunity to interact with the creative staff and voice talent of some of your favorite anime! If you are interested in participating in this once in a lifetime opportunity then be at The Majestic for the Cosplay Show on Sunday, August 14th by 7:30pm! Our emcees be talking to the crowd to see who is cosplaying from what so that you may partake in this special event.
